City police nab suspected Mad Cowz member

A suspected member of the Mad Cowz street gang wanted by city police is now in custody.

Terryl Izzard, 18, was arrested Tuesday and is being held at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.

On Monday, the Winnipeg Police Serviced reported several arrests of gang members as part of Project Recall, focusing on illegal drug activities.

Nine suspects were arrested, however, a warrant for the Izzard's arrested was issued.
