City police search for shooting suspect

Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 19-year-old man wanted in a shooting in the 200 block of Talbot Avenue on Feb. 22.

Police say they have issued a warrant for the arrest of Sheldon David Contois in connection with the shooting, but have been unable to locate him.

Police say Contois is 6'0", 150 lbs., short brown hair, fair complexion and hazel eyes.

Police say Contois is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police at 204-986-6219 or 786-TIPS.
