City senior charged with drug trafficking

A 64-year-old man faces numerous trafficking charges after police said they discovered 614 marijuana plants in his residence, worth an estimated street value of almost $700,000.

Winnipeg police also found 3.8 pounds of dried marijuana worth $9,500, at the residence in the 500 block of Fleet Avenue.

The grow operation is valued at about $7,000.
