City staff to study 24-hour notices on seasonal parking bans

The civic administration will study a proposal by River Heights councillor John Orlikow to give residents a 24-hour notice on no-parking bans for spring and fall street clean ups.

Orlikow (River Heights-Fort Garry) suggested residents need time to find alternative parking arrangements when the city conducts its semi-annual street clean-up campaigns.

The public works committee tasked the suggestion to staff, who will bring back a report for a January meeting.
