Cloudy today, and watch for thunderstorms

  • Print

The forecast for Winnipeg over the next few days could be a little wet.

Environment Canada is calling for mainly cloudy skies today with a 60 per cent chance of showers or thunderstorms this afternoon. The daytime high is only 20 C.

Tonight, grab a rain jacket or umbrella. Showers and thunderstorms are expected, with rainfall amounts anywhere between 10 to 30 millimetres. Tonight’s low is 17 C.

That shower and thunderstorm activity should end sometime Friday morning, making way for more clouds and a 60 per cent chance of showers or thunderstorms again. Friday’s high should hit 24 C.

There’s a good chance rain and thunderstorms will stay with us throughout the weekend, too. It will be a little warmer, though, with highs near 27 C both Saturday and Sunday.
