Mountain Avenue reopens after collision

Winnipeg Police investigate a collision on Mountain Avenue this morning involving a pedestrian. The victim was transported to hospital and is in stable condition.

Winnipeg Police investigate a collision on Mountain Avenue this morning involving a pedestrian. The victim was transported to hospital and is in stable condition.

Mountain Avenue has been reopened to traffic following a collision this morning in which a pedestrian was hit by a car.

Winnipeg Police said the collision occurred just before 8 a.m., in the 400 block of Mountain, between Powers and Andrews streets.

An individual was taken to hospital in unstable condition, but has since been upgraded to stable condition.

A stretch of Mountain Avenue was initially closed to traffic but has been reopened.
