Condition of Osborne Village stabbing victim upgraded

The condition of a stabbing victim attacked early this morning in Osborne Village has been upgraded to stable.

Winnipeg police said emergency workers responded to a report of an injured man at 1:40 a.m. near Stradbrook Avenue and Osborne Street.

The victim, 30, was in the area when he was approached by an unknown man who attacked him, police said in a press release. He received multiple upper-body injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition, police said.
