Cool weather expected to bring rain

Grab your umbrella -- and possibly your snow boots -- because Thanksgiving weekend is going to get soggy.

Winnipeggers woke up to grey skies this morning, with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a forecast high of 9 C. Environment Canada expects rain will begin overnight, with the temperature dropping to 2 C.

Monday's high is 7 C, but periods of rain are set to turn into wet snow by tomorrow evening. Tuesday's forecast is cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries and a high of 6 C.
