Corydon bar employee charged in man's death
WINNIPEG - A 26-year-old man has been charged in connection with a Corydon-area assault that led to the death of a 33-year-old man.
Gary Rent, 33, died of injuries suffered during an assault at Cockburn St. and Corydon Ave., outside Bar Italia, at around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Police believe the attacker was a 26-year-old male employee of a local establishment. The suspect later turned himself in to police.
Nicholas Garrett Somers, 26, faces charges of manslaughter, and has been detained by police.
