Members of the KPMG audit team that reviewed the paper trail surrounding the construction of the new police headquarters project will be at council this morning to answer questions.
Mayor Sam Katz said his office ensured the KPMG team would be at council, but added it will require a two-thirds vote of council to allow questions be put to them.
Also on council’s agenda is a new Transit bylaw. However, it’s expected that the controversial provision to make singing on a bus a fineable offence will be withdrawn.
Council is also expected to endorse in principle the new development guidelines for the last remaining vacant lands at The Forks.
