RCMP found cocaine, marijuana, money and weapons inside the home on Murdoch Drive. A large sum of money, four firearms and other prohibited weapons, such as bear spray and a Taser were also seized.

Police seized drugs and prohibited weapons on the weekend at a home in the RM of St. Clements.

Just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Selkirk RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Murdoch Drive and seized 940 grams of cocaine, more than 71 kilograms of marijuana and drug trafficking paraphernalia, a police press release said. A large sum of cash, four guns and other prohibited weapons, including bear spray and a Taser were also seized, police said.

Daniel Kupchik, 43, and Karianne Ridgedale-Maglian, 37, both of the RM of St. Andrews, have been charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of property obtained by crime, five counts of unauthorized possession of weapons and four counts of unsafe storage of firearms, police said. Both were remanded into custody.
