Although the accident happened several hours ago, an area near the intersection of Waterfront Drive remained closed to traffic, causing morning rush-hour traffic to divert.

We have all made mistakes in our lives. My condolences to the family. "Opinionated" hopefully one of your love ones don't tie you up one morning going to work. Can't believe your comment.

having those customizations does not make a car crash inevitable. the kid who lost his life was a dear friend of mine. he was only 18 and had his whole life ahead of him. i would like to see you being so flippant if this ever happened to you.

My condolences to you as you were so inconvenienced, and put out of your way while the WPS do their job. I'm sure you're the same person that complains when they are allegedly not doing their job.
Funny that with a name like "Opinionated", your opinion sucks and I'm sure most people think it's ridiculous.
We should be thankful the WPS is as professional as they are when they are doing their job.

Big deal so you had to be delayed. Police need to know what happened to cause this accident. You need to learn to be compasionate.

I agree, a life was lost and my condolnences to the family. What I do not understand, if this occured at 3 am, why, at 7:30 am this morning, was the road still closed to rush hour traffic? What an inconvienience...especially when you don't know the side streets. Does it really take 4.5 hrs?

I'm with coachman. A life was lost. We are all guilty of bad judgement when driving at times. Peace be with the family of the victim.
