Police are investigating a single-vehicle collision that sent four young women to hospital early Saturday.
The crash occurred at about 4 a.m. near the Perimeter Highway and Pipeline Road, East St. Paul RCMP said in a news release.
The 18-year-old female driver, along with three female passengers were transported to Winnipeg area hospitals with undetermined injuries. Police said it appears the vehicle was heading westbound on Balgona Road and came to dead end at the intersection of Pipeline Road. The vehicle went off the road into a deep ditch and came to a stop in a farmer’s field.
RCMP are investigating. Alcohol has not been ruled out as a contributing factor in the collision, police said.
