Crash closes Perimeter at Sturgeon

RCMP say there was a collision involving a semi and a light truck this morning at the Perimeter Highway and Sturgeon Road.

The westbound lanes are closed, and will remain that way for a few hours, with traffic is being rerouted.

There was a small fire as a result of the crash but it has since been extinguished.

RCMP are saying there are no significant injuries as a result of the crash. One person was treated at the scene for minor injuries and they are not sure if that person has been taken to hospital.
