Day by day lousy weather to improve this week

The sky won’t thrill you today but you’ll find some good news to go with today’s relatively poor weather conditions.

After today’s cloudy start, middle and finish, including a 40 per cent of showers or flurries, a gusty wind up to 50 kilometres per hour and a high of just 5 C, Environment Canada says improvement isn’t far off.

Wednesday also promises to start out cloudy but shows some clearing later in the day with a high of 8 C.

From Thursday through to the end of Environment Canada's normal forecast period on Monday, there’s mention of sunshine every day.

Thursday’s forecast high is 7 C, Friday could be 11 C after a morning frost, while Saturday and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ home game against Calgary shows a high of 14 C.
