Drake, Matthew Good hitting Winnipeg stages this fall

Grammy-winning Toronto rapper Drake is hitting the road for a 41-city North American tour this fall, and Winnipeg is one of those cities.

The singer’s Would You Like a Tour? tour will stop at the MTS Centre on Thursday, Oct. 3. Tickets are $49.75, $69.75 and $99.75 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website, as well as through Ticketmaster.

The former Degrassi: The Next Generation star is touring with special guests Miguel and Future in support of his upcoming third album, Nothing Was the Same, which is due out later this year.

Also planning an autumn tour is West Coast singer-songwriter and ’90s radio mainstay Matthew Good.

The multi-platinum musician will play the Burton Cummings Theatre on Thursday, Nov. 7. Tickets, $25 and $39.50, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. on LiveNation.com and through Ticketmaster. (VIP packages are available June 19 at www.matthewgood.org/tour-dates.)

The Winnipeg stop is part of a 43-date North American tour with guests Gentleman Husbands.

Good releases his 13th studio album, Arrows of Desire, on Sept. 24.
