A vehicle struck a tree on north Main Street Friday morning just after 6 a.m. near Kildonan Golf Course.
The small car was heading north when it left the road, struck a tree on the boulevard and crashed into a fence that runs alongside a fairway.
Winnipeg police said the lone occupant was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Traffic was down to one lane for about 30 minutes while emergency crews worked at the scene.
The investigation continues.
