Driver carjacked by hammer-wielding man

WINNIPEG — Police are investigating after a man wielding a hammer carjacked a vehicle on the 200 block of Salter Street Tuesday at about 12:30 p.m.
Officers pursued the van before it crashed into 565 Magnus Ave. at about 1:15 p.m.
Police said they had one man in custody in connection with the incident, and were seeking another man Tuesday afternoon.
