Woman injured in collision involving three vehicles on Perimeter Highway

  • Print

A woman was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries about 11 a.m. today following a collision involving three vehicles on the Perimeter Highway at St. Mary's Road, RCMP report.

Witness reports at the scene indicate that a westbound minivan was in collision with a westbound motor home. The minivan then went over the median and was struck by an eastbound semi-trailer, RCMP said.

The passenger side of a dark blue minivan was completely smashed in and the front end of the semi sustained serious damage, too.

The driver of the minivan was pinned inside before being pulled out by firefighters and paramedics.

There were no other injuries reported.

Motorists should find an alternate route or expect delays for the next few hours, RCMP said.
