Dustin Boyd's hat trick gives Bulldogs win over Moose

  • Print

HAMILTON — Winnipegger Dustin Boyd scored his 12th, 13th and 14th goals of the season to push the Bulldogs to a 3-0 win over the Moose before 10,270 customers at Copps Coliseum.

Boyd was dazzling on two of his goals using his speed to befuddle Moose defenders and then putting two world class shots past goalie Tyler Weiman. He finished off the hat trick with an empty net marker.

While Boyd was the offensive star former Moose goalie Curtis Sanford did his old team no favours as he stopped 29 shots and was extra stingy down the stretch to help his team to the win.
