Electrical fire causes $600 K in damages

An electrical fire overnight Saturday caused $600,000 to a two-storey building at 286 Stradbrook Ave., Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service said this morning.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
The fire began in the basement and spread to the main floor. There was some smoke damage to the second floor.
