Enjoy the heat while it lasts — cooler temps start tomorrow

It could be our last blast of summer today.

Environment Canada is predicting the mercury to hit a high of 26C, considerably higher than the seasonal average of 18C.

Not only will it be hot, but it will be sunny, causing the UV index to be five or moderate.

But it all changes on Sunday when the mercury drops with a crashing thud on Sunday, only reaching a high of 14C.

And the temperatures don’t rebound because the weather forecasters are predicting highs of 13C on Monday, 17C on Tuesday, 13C on Wednesday, 13C on Thursday and 12C on Friday.
