  • Print

Federal government officials will be on the University of Manitoba campus Monday morning to hand out cash for two major roof projects.

Western Economic Diversification Canada says it will announce new funding for the University of Manitoba to upgrade the roofs of two hallmark buildings on the Fort Garry campus.

While the feds have not yet divulged which two hallmark buildings will benefit, the announcement will be made on the roof of the Frank Kennedy Building.

And Tory MP James Bezan will be in Teulon Monday morning to announce federal funding for a community infrastructure project.

The money will also come from Western Economic Diversification.

Federal officials aren’t saying what the money is for, but the announcement will be held at St. Cyprian Anglican Church Hall.
