Female stabbing victim identified

The female victim of a stabbing on Salter Street Friday morning has been identified.

Lorie Bearbull, 37, suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to hospital in critical condition around 4:15 a.m. on Friday. She later succumbed to her injuries in hospital.

Members of the homicide unit are still investigating her death. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
