Fire crews extinguish blaze on Church Avenue

The fire is out but smoke and water damage are extensive from a blaze overnight at 1438 Church Ave.

Seven different stations plus the HazMat unit responded to the call at 1:25 a.m. at Cadorath Plating.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service said this morning that there were no injuries. The fire began in an electric recepticle and spread to plastic lining and wiring in the building. The extent of the damage was undetermined as of early ths morning.

The scene is clear but the investigation continues.
