A Transcona home was completely destroyed by fire Monday afternoon.
The loss of the two-storey home on Ed Golding Bay, at the east end of Pandora Avenue, is estimated at $400,000. No one was hurt.
Homeowners said the fire started in the basement. Firefighters arrived at the scene at about 1:30 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
