Crews battle morning blaze
A home and neighbouring garage were damaged this morning after fire broke out on Gallagher Avenue.
The blaze was reported at around 6:20 a.m., and involved the rear of the house at 14 Gallagher Ave. and the garage at 10 Gallagher Ave., near Logan Avenue and Keewatin Street.
Total damage is estimated at $50,000.
No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
An overnight fire in the 600 block of Victor Street is also being investigated. No further details on the fire are available.
