Firefighters camping out to raise funds for muscular dystrophy

Four Winnipeg firefighters have a bird’s eye view of Osborne Village for the next four days.

The four are camping out on the roof of the fire hall at Osborne and Stradbook until 8 p.m. Friday.

The camp out is to raise funds for families dealing with muscular dystrophy.

This is the fourth year of the event. Last year the Winnipeg Camp Out raised almost $30,000.

Volunteer firefighters will be on hand Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. doing a "Road Toll" asking drivers to make a donation to MD as they pass the fire station.
