Folk Fest kickoff cancelled at Old Market Square

Thunderstorms today have forced the cancellation of the opening ceremonies for the 2012 Winnipeg Folk Festival.
The official kickoff was to have happened at Old Market Square at noon, however, the nasty weather has wiped out the event.
