Former Miss Universe in Winnipeg today

The planets are aligning for Ben Moss Jewellers.

The long-time Winnipeg jeweller welcomes former Miss Universe, Natalie Glebova, to town as its "Diamond Ambassador" and the face of its Canadian Ice diamonds brand.

The 2005 titleholder will be signing autographs – and presumably posing for a few pictures – at the Ben Moss Polo Park Shopping Centre store from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. today.

"Natalie’s natural beauty, commitment to the environment and gift for connecting with people make her the ideal representative for the Canadian Ice Collection," said Brent Trepel, president and CEO of Ben Moss.

"She skyrocketed to the title of one of the most beautiful women in the world, much like Canadian Ice has quickly become an international brand symbolizing one-of-a-kind beauty."

Ben Moss launched its Canadian Ice brand at its 63 stores across the country last week.

Ben Moss was established in 1910 and will celebrate its 102nd anniversary in October. It remains a family-owned business and employs about 600 people from Vancouver to Halifax.
