A former TV star will be in Winnipeg this week where she’ll be doing a book signing.
Candace Cameron Bure, who played daughter D.J. on the 20-year-old sitcom Full House, recently released a Christian woman’s self-help book, Reshaping It All.
Her co-author on the project was Winnipeg writer and graphic artist Darlene Schacht.
The two women will be signing copies of the book at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chapters St. Vital.
Bure and her husband, the former NHL player Valeri Bure, are in town to support Compassion Canada’s Children’s Survival program.
They’ll be appearing at a $150-a-plate fundraiser at Bergmann’s on Lombard Thursday evening.
Valeri Bure also was a winner on TV’s Battle of the Blades reality show.
