Fort Whyte voters have until Sunday to add their name to list

Eligible Fort Whyte voters who haven’t received an enumeration notice have until Sunday to add their name to the voters list.

Elections Manitoba says revising agents will be available to go to homes to make any changes or additions to the voters list.

Voters can also go to the returning office at 2233 McGillvary Blvd. They must bring government-issued photo identification--a driver’s licence--or two other pieces of identification.

The returning office is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., except Sunday when it’s open from noon until 6 p.m.

Voting day is Sept. 4.

The four candidates in the race are: Progressive Conservative Leader Brian Pallister, NDP candidate Brandy Schmidt, Liberal candidate Bob Axworthy and Green Party candidate Donnie Benham.

The seat became vacant after former PC Leader Hugh McFadyen resigned.
