Garage intruder shoots Crestview man with pellet gun

Police are looking for an intruder who shot a 52-year-old man with a pellet gun early Tuesday morning in Crestview.

Shortly before 1 a.m., the 52-year-old resident of 100 block of Risbey Crescent spotted an intruder in his garage. A struggle ensued, and the suspect shot the homeowner in the upper-body with a pellet gun.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, about 6’ tall and clean-shaven. He was wearing a grey hoodie with a dark-coloured trench coat over top.

Anyone with information about this crime or the identity of the suspect should call police at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
