Garbage, recycling collection running late in some areas

Garbage and recycling collection is a half-day to a day behind in some parts of Winnipeg.

Late this afternoon, City of Winnipeg officials said residents scheduled for collection services are urged to leave their carts and yard waste materials at the curb. If they have not been picked up for more than one day, residents should phone 311 to report a missed pickup.

City officials are also reminding citizens to leave one arm's length on all sides of each cart.
