Ghosts and goblins treated to great Halloween weather

WINNPEG -- A warm, clear Halloween night will give way to a stretch of perfect, late-fall weather this week.

As trick-or-treaters prepare to hit the streets, Winnipeg will be clear and sunny, with a daytime high of 9 C today and an overnight low of only -2 C.

Environment Canada says the rest of the week will be sunny, with temperatures as high as 8 C, well above normal.

There is no snow or rain in the forecast as far out as Sunday.
