Goldeyes pitch in to help Winnipeg Harvest

The Winnipeg Goldeyes’ Field of Dreams Foundation donated $1,000 and some volunteer manpower to Winnipeg Harvest on Tuesday.

Goldeyes general manager Andrew Collier, hitting coach Tom Vaeth and mascot Goldie along with other members of the American Association team’s front-office staff volunteered at Winnipeg Harvest on Tuesday morning.

"The Goldeyes are proud to partner with such a great organization like Winnipeg Harvest," Collier said in a statement. "They do an amazing job in Winnipeg to provide a food bank for the less fortunate and it is a privilege to spend the morning with them."
