Gunshot sends person to hospital
WINNIPEG — A person was taken to hospital suffering from a gunshot wound last night.
Winnipeg police said the shooting occurred in the 300-block of Furby early Wednesday night.
A police spokeswoman would not say if the victim is a man or woman, but added that the individual is in guarded condition.
Police said they are not prepared to release any information about a possible suspect at this time.
