The top winners of the Health Sciences Centre Foundation (HSC) Home Lottery have been announced, according to a release by the foundation.

The $1.4-million show home in Tuxedo as well as $50,000 in cash went to Irwin Steen of Kenville. The winner of the early-bird prize of $100,000 in gold or cash went to Chris Plaseski of Oakbank, and the 50/50 add-on prize of about $370,000 cash went to Winnipeg’s Steve Mackenzie.

The lottery raises money for the HSC Foundation, which supports "research, education and advanced technology and infrastructure" for the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, according to the release.

Winners of the lottery’s roughly 5,800 other prizes will be notified in writing of their winnings.
