Heat to hang around this week

  • Print

Point that fan at your face or creep closer to the air conditioner - the hottest week of the summer is upon us.

But all that heat and humidity is going to bring some thunderstorms.

The high today will be 33 C with increasing clouds this morning.

The AccuWeather forecast is calling for a thundershower this afternoon which will move away for a clear evening.

On Tuesday, it will sunny and feel like 34 with the humidity,

More of the same for Wednesday with a high of 32 C.

Thunderstorms are in the forecast at this point for Thursday, with a high of 31 C, and Friday with a high of 29 C.

The good news is the heat will continue into the weekend but without rain in the forecast.

Saturday's high will be 30 C and Sunday's will be 26 C.

Enjoy it while it lasts because the break in the heat, and the reality check that fall is on the way, will come on the holiday Monday with a high of 24 C and an overnight low of 10 C.
