High of 10C today, sunny weekend ahead

If you’ve got weekend on your mind already this morning, the weather forecast is a keeper.

First you've got to get through today, when wind will be the only obstacle. Environment Canada is calling for sun and cloud with a high of 10C. A south wind, however, will steal some of the day’s warmth, and it will kick up to between 50 and 70 kilometres per hour this afternoon.

Beyond today, you’ll find the forecast switched to sunny for Saturday with a high of 13 C for the CFL game at CanadInns Stadium between the Blue Bombers and Calgary.

Sunday, more of the same is on the board. The call is for more sunshine and a high of 12 C.

The fair weather is slated to carry into next week as well, with a couple of sunny days in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
