High of 16C today, strong wind gusts

Apparently, Jack Frost hit the snooze button.

After a few nights hovering around freezing, the highs for the next few days will be in the mid-teens, while the lows are forecast in the 4-5C range for the near future.

According to Environment Canada, today’s high will reach 16C, with a mixture of sun and cloud in the morning and winds gusting to from 30 to 50 km/h. The sky should clear tonight, followed by a low of 10C.

On Wednesday, the forecast is mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the morning, afternoon and early evening and a high of 14C. Winds from the northwest could gust between 30 km/h up to 70 in the morning.

More cloud is predicted for Thursday, with a high of 14 and a low of 5. On Friday, a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 13 and a low of 4.

The highs forecast for both Saturday and Sunday are 19, with lows of 4 each night.
