High of 23C for back-to-class day

The temperature will be warm enough today that children won't have to wear jackets or raincoats over their new back-to-school outfits.

We’re looking at a cloudy day, with a projected high of 23C. Going down to 8 tonight, however.

Thursday’s forecast is what we had expected today --- cloud, some wind, high of 19.

Ditto that for Friday, though the sun may peek out.

Then, says Environment Canada --- and we’re holding you to this --- sunny and 22 both Saturday and Sunday, 26 and sunny Monday and Tuesday.

But yikes, those overnight lows are all single digits, including 6 on Sunday night into Monday morning.
