High-speed chase leads to arrest
A 20-year-old man was arrested after a vehicle was driven at high speeds around St. James on Friday night.
Police said today a red Mitsubishi Lancer sped past officers doing a traffic stop on Portage Avenue narrowly missing an officer at about 11:30 p.m.
Police attempted to chase the car but stopped when it continued to speed. The vehicle was found a short time later parked at a residence in Charleswood.
Vlado Bejatovic has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving. He has been detained in custody.
