Highway 1 from Headingley to Portage la Prairie has been reopened, though the RCMP still issue an advisory for poor driving conditions due to drifting snow, blowing snow, icy conditions, rain and high winds.
As always, RCMP advise to use caution when driving on this part of Highway 1 by reducing speeds and increasing the distance between cars. Emergency services on the highway may be delayed due to the conditions.
Driving warnings have also been sent out for a number of other highways -- for the full list of advisories, visit the Government of Manitoba Roads twitter page at twitter.com/MBGovRoads
