Homicide unit investigating after two people found dead in Maples apartment

The Winnipeg police homicide unit is investigating after two people were found dead in a north Winnipeg apartment block this morning.

At about 10:50 a.m., police said they were called to check on the well-being of a resident inside a secured suite in the 1200 block of Jefferson Avenue. There they discovered two bodies.

The homicide unit is investigating. Police did not release any further information on Saturday afternoon.
