Everybody's working for the weekend -- and it's going to be worth it.
There will be some rain but plenty of heat and humidity to go with it.
It will be mostly sunny today with a high of 29 C and a south wind this morning of 30 km/h. Tonight, clouds will increase overnight with Environment Canada's forecast calling for possible thunderstorms and a 60 per cent chance of showers. The low will not be very low at 21 C.
Saturday, there will be a high of 31 C with more showers expected and a risk of thunderstorms pretty much all day. At night, the humidity will be up around 92 per cent.
A sunny Sunday is expected with a high of 32 C.
Temperatures will continue to soar into next week with highs in the low 30s being forecast.
