Live Roar of the Rings coverage at the News Café

  • Print

We’re not sure if we’re going to use the in-turn or the out-turn but whatever we throw at the Winnipeg Free Press News Café this week, we’re going to hit the broom.

Our intimate and interactive coverage of the Roar Of The Rings – the bonspiel which will decide Canada’s men’s and women’s Olympic representatives – continues Thursday morning when Mark Nichols, lead for Jeff Stoughton’s rink, drops by for an interview at 9 a.m.

He follows Jennifer Jones and Chelsea Carey, skips of the two Manitoba rinks on the women’s side, who came by on Wednesday.

The first rock will be thrown on Sunday, Dec. 1 at the MTS Centre. The women’s final will take place on Sat. Dec. 7 and the men’s final a day later.

Nichols’ interview will be livestreamed here.
