IKEA to announce grand opening date

IKEA fans, circle Sept. 19 on your calendars.
That’s not the day the Swedish furniture maker will open its 390,000-square-foot store, but they will announce their grand opening day.
IKEA officials have said for some time that they expect the store to open in either late November or early December.
Construction is nearing completion at the site near Sterling Lyon Parkway and Kenaston Boulevard.
IKEA employees will spend the next couple of months stocking the shelves and building the kitchen, bathroom, dining room and living room showrooms.
