The Idle No More movement is revving up on the Sagkeeng First Nation.
More than 50 people attended a rally on the reserve Monday afternoon, with another rally scheduled for this afternoon at 4 p.m. The protestors will gather at the community arena and will walk peacefully along the side of Highway 11.
"It’s another day of action," said a community member, who did not want her name used. "We’ll carrying posters. We won’t be blocking traffi, but we want people to know we’re there."
She said anyone who supports the Idle No More movement is welcome to attend the rally.
