Ile des Chenes bridge opens

WINNIPEG — The province has opened a new $2.6-million bridge over the Seine River diversion just outside Ile des Chenes.

The 69-meter bridge replaces a 40-year-old structure, said Infrastructure and Transportation Minister Ron Lemieux.

The bridge is on Bernat Road, just off Highway 59, and just south of LeClair Road.
